International Day of Persons with Disabilities - 3 December

The observance of the Day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. It also seeks to increase awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.

To celebrate togetherness, the students of Vydehi School of Excellence were part of the classroom activities in Vydehi School, a center for children with developmental difficulties. The apprehensions were seen initially, which changed to amazement as they realized what the children can do with limitations in some areas. This feeling was echoed by Zia, “I felt very happy to work with them. While coming I was little tense but it was fun with Priyanshi and Arjun”.

The students of Vydehi School of Excellence showed a great deal of enthusiasm in organizing music, dance, art and magic show performances for the students.

It was a day filled with learning experiences for students studying in both the schools.
